We’ll read the adventures of Corduroy and do bear-and-button hands-on projects for the littlest artists at Preschool Story Art, Friday, February 3, at the Pensacola Museum of Art. Reading and creating art are valuable learning skills, and Preschool Story Art at the PMA gives preschool children the opportunity to hear and interact with a book, then create artwork based on the story, bringing the words to life in their own hands. After reading the story in our children’s art library, our young artists will create their own colorful art in our Museum classroom. Parents and grandparents are invited to join in the fun!Preschool Story Art is held the first Friday of each month from 10 to 11 a.m. for children ages 3 to 5. Pre-registration is required. Classes are $10 for members, $15 for non-members. To register, or for more information about Preschool Story Art, PMA Saturday art workshops for kids or other educational programs, please contact Raven McBride, Curator of Education and Outreach, at 850.432.6247 or raven@pensacolamuseumofart.org
