Native opens computer shop on Palafox
Native Pensacolian Kyle Crawford has opened Palafox Computers, 111 N. Palafox St., two doors north of Schmidt’s Music store.
The computer shop is an authorized reseller of refurbished Apple computer products, including iMac, Macbook, Macbook Pro, Powerbook, G5 towers and Apple Cinema Displays.
“We sell the returned merchandise at a discount of at least 40 percent off retail and give a warranty with every product we sell,” Crawford said. “In an economy where money is tight, we will be able to put product in every home — from students to professionals, musicians and everyone in
between.”
Palafox Computers also repairs all Apple products and PC’s and plans on bringing in iPhone and
iPad repairs in the near future.
The store has four full-time employees and offers free WiFi and coffee to customers.
“Being a business owner that has other businesses in the area, I have never had such a positive reaction from our community,” Crawford said. “Everyone is ecstatic about the brand coming to the downtown area.”
Crawford also plans to participate in Gallery Night events.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
