- Material placed in the display cases must be promoting an upcoming special event, festival, or performance occurring in Escambia County. Preference in placement and scheduling will be given to the promotion of allowed activities occurring within the DIB District.
- Promotional material may be placed in a display case for no more than one month prior to the occurrence of the event and may remain in place until the conclusion of the event that it is promoting.
- Only full color posters of a size not less than 60 x 30 may be placed in the display cases. The dimensions of the display cases are 72 inches in height and 34 inches in width except for the one farthest north on S. Palafox Place, which are 72 inches in height and 42 inches in width.
- Only one poster per display case may be displayed at any point in time.
- Posters placed in the display cases must be professionally designed and commercially produced.
- Promotional materials will be removed within 72 hours of the conclusion of the event. If the poster is to be returned to the individual/group that requested placement, it must be picked-up from the DIB office within one week of removal. Otherwise, the DIB will be allowed to dispose of it as it see fit.
- The cost for the production and placement of any promotional materials/posters will be borne entirely by the organization/individual requesting use of the display cases.
- Posters/promotional material may only be displayed using pins. No staples, nails, glue, tape or other adhesive materials may be used to display a poster/promotional material in the display cases.
- No more than twenty percent (20%) of the poster surface (i.e. face) can promote commercial enterprises, sponsors, promoters, or presenters. Non-profit organizations are exempt from this provision.
- No one special event, festival, or performance may occupy more than one display case at any one time – unless no other users have reserved the vacant cases.
- DIB shall have sole discretion to disallow anything proposed for use in the display cases following the approved guidelines.
- No overt religious or political statements may be displayed in the display cases.
